Kerala Elephant Festival

A Highlight! of many highlights of an extended stay in Kerala. Several times each week this colorful and “noiseful” festival takes place. Centerpiece are the majestic elephants in all their finery. These are supported by local people with their steel bands. This provides amazing entertainment for locals and visitors alike.
