Alaska -MacCarthy Kennecott Mine
This fabulous building is in the town of McCarthy in Wrangel-St Elias NP in Alaska. This was an old Copper mine which closed in 1930. One can only imagine the working conditions all year round. The nearby town had ruins of all the varios commercial and “entertainment” establishments.
