We had a great painting trip to Western Crete. It seems we are always saying it, but both the people and the scenery were spectacular.
We based ourselves in the town of Rethynmo, the other big town nearby is Chania. Town Photos are from both. As can be seen, both are really attractive. The inland was really beautiful, snow laden mountains (in Summer), massive gorges and really attractive towns on the South Coast. Rural way of life in small villages laid back – fruit and animals.
